I changed the pattern chart. I omitted the umbrellas (which float above the ducks and below the clouds), raised the height of the clouds and created a sun using the yellow yarn. I crocheted a circle and sewed it on. I used a chain stitch to create the sun’s rays.

I used 7 skeins of the main color 1 1/2 of the darker blue and small amounts of white, red and yellow (which could have been made from scraps).
