an “over the head” cowl pattern with a classic “V” shape…

this is a little sampler of the Butterfly/Papillon Shawl pattern.

It was created to make a beautiful little piece
and dip your toes into the techniques of a larger project.

it is designed to be a fun, wearable piece of art.

It employs short rows to create the shapes with both yarn over increases and M1R / M1L increases.
You only work one color at a time.

it uses VERY little yarn, only about
100 yds of your main color and
80 yards of your contrast.

Perfect for left overs and stash orphans.
