This easy pattern uses just one ball of Katia Cometa and the pattern is written for both straight and circular needles.

There is some shaping to give the cowl a great fit and a button tab which does not have buttonholes, so you can just add whatever size and shape of buttons you fancy.

The cowl is knitted in garter stitch.
