The Cabernet Cowl is crocheted using a yarn that has a burgundy colored metallic strip entwined within the strand. This metallic strip gives this cowl a gentle sparkle, but when you add the next detail of a gold lined thread crocheted along the border, this cowl really shines! You’re scarf will be the talk of the party!

This pattern is beginner friendly. The only stitch you need to know is the single crochet. It takes less than 2 hours to complete, which makes it great for charitable donations or last minute gifts.

You can use any size 6 super bulky weight yarn and size P (11.5 mm) crochet hook.

The thread border is optional and is worked using the size P crochet hook, so no small stitches!

Even if you don’t have a fancy party to attend, it would still make a gorgeous cowl to spice up your every day wardrobe.
