Notes:
These thick slippers utilize Judy’s Magic Cast On for toe-up design, and are knitted with circular needles via the Magic Loop method. The top of the foot is accented with two 1-over-1 cables that flow into the 2x2 ribbed cuff, finished with kitchener double rib bind-off (similar to a tubular bind off). The pattern is written for one-size (roughly women’s 8-10 US shoe size), but can be easily modified for custom fit.

Materials:

  • Two 64yd skeins of Lion Brand Yarn Hometown in San Juan Sunset
  • Circular knitting needles in size US 13 / 9mm, or size needed to obtain gauge
  • Tapestry needle for weaving ends
  • Optional: cable needle for 1-over-1 cables
  • Gauge: 10sts x 14r = 4” stockinette stitch
