Carol comes in two versions. Carol 1 has a Latvian Braid, Carol 2 has a Loop Stitch elegantly draped across the shoulder section.
It is a circular yoke sweater worked from top down. It has a relaxed fit with an elegant high neckline. The stranded colorwork spreads out in stripes over the whole garment with lots of relaxed plain stockinette knitting in between.
The sweater is ideal for using up stash yarn for the contrasting colors as the colorwork requires only small amounts of yarn. Carol 1 and 2 use the same charts but are arranged in a different order on both sweaters.

Carol is named after the legendary singer and singwriter Carol King.
