I would have preferred to use my usual Bernat Handicrafter 100% cotton worsted weight yarn, but this pattern was designed in the air between Edmonton and Vancouver, Canada, and I cast on using the only yarn that I had with me, Araucania Ulmo, while on a lay-over in Vancouver, so I will not give measurements and grams this time.

Please remember to use a smaller size needle that you normally do for worsted weight, as the tighter tension will help the picture to stand out.

My inspiration for this dishcloth was an embroidery chart that I found at www.rucniprace.cz. As soon as I saw it, I immediately thought of a cat in a window.

Thank you so much, Tunie, for setting your much loved blanket that you are knitting for Fred aside and taking some time to test knit my pattern for me. I am so appreciative!!

Enjoy!
