A drop-shouldered pullover knitted in either wool or cotton. Cables cover the yoke and skirt and a cable runs down each sleeve. The rest of the pullover is worked in a simple 3 rows K, 1 row P pattern.

As shown on the cover of Patricia Roberts Knitting Book no. 11, the pullover has a rectangular intarsia panel with two cats on a seed stitch background, but no pattern for this is given in the book. It is given in the Variations UK book.

The pattern is given for 2-3 year old (65cm or 26” chest), 5-7 year old (80cm or 32” chest), 9-11 year old (95cm or 38” chest), woman’s (112cm or 44.5” chest) and man’s (129cm or 51.5” chest) sizes.
