Cavendish Cat and Basket of Yarn Balls
Cavendish Cat is helping out today, by tidying up my knitting bag. What a helpful cat!
This listing is for patterns for you to knit your own Cavendish Cat, basket and yarn balls. The patterns include instructions and lots of photos to help you. The yarn balls are knitted and embroidered to look like balls of wool, so they will not unravel with play.
The 12 page pattern is written so it is easier for beginners to follow. You will need to be able to do the following stitches/techniques: knit, purl, casting on and off, sewing seams, increases, decreases, i-cord, change colours and intarsia knitting.
All pieces are knitted flat on straight needles, apart from the i-cord pieces which are knitted on 2 double pointed needles (DPNs). The cat uses less than 100g of wool to make, and is knitted on 3mm needles.
The finished cat is 14cm tall (sitting).
