This simple flower is versatile and a good project for beginners. It is strong and makes a good flower for applique too.

I used both 8ply DK yarn in acrylic and 8ply cotton & a 4mm hook, but any yarn with an appropriate size hook will work.

You will only need scraps of leftover yarn to make the flower as it uses very little.
