Isle of Uist Spiral Necklace:
Required: 50g of any unusual double knitting yarn - I used Handspun fine Merino double knitting yarn - dyed and spun on the Isle of Uist - the colour inspired by Uist Lanscapes and called Atlantic. I bought it from the Hebridean Woolshed, Isle of South Uist.
Needles: Metric 3.75mm & 6mm
Tension: 22 stitches x 30 rows = 4 inches square, using 4mm needles and stocking stitch
