Centaurs are half-man, half-horse beings from Greek Mythology, and with this pattern, you can crochet your own!

To make this pattern, you will need:
• Worsted-weight yarn in body color, torso color, hoof color. (Brand does not matter, any worsted weight)
• Size G crochet hook (4 mm)
• Fiberfill or stuffing
• Needle with a large eye
• 9 mm plastic safety eyes
• 16 gauge aluminum jewelry wire
• Small amount of plastic canvas
• Small amount of black embroidery thread (for the eyebrows)

NOTE: This pattern does not include explicit directions for the hair. There are many options and free tutorials available online for all different types of amigurumi hair that do a better job of explaining the different processes.

This pattern is at an intermediate/advanced level. Previous amigurumi experience is highly recommended. You need to know how to single crochet in the round, increase, decrease, slip stitch, crochet in front-loop only, and popcorn/bubble stitch. This pattern calls for the use of wire for the arms and legs. Never used wire before? Detailed instructions are included to help guide you along in the process!

Pattern includes 9 pages of detailed instruction in English and color photos of the work-in-progress and finished product to help guide you along. Finished product measures about 11” tall and approximately 6” long.
