This was the first pattern for our monthly Maine yarn subscription.

The Chain of Ponds is a series of interconnected ponds in Maine’s north woods. We like how the slip stitch pattern interconnects each of the colors in this Good Karma Yarns Color Blurz gradient pack. One gradient pack provides 225 yards, so you will have plenty of yarn for either the beanie or slouchy version of the hat.

Good Karma Farm is located in Belfast, Maine, where they raise alpaca and Icelandic sheep, as well as operate a small spinning mill.

One size fits most adults. Beanie uses size US 3 & 4 needles, Slouchy version uses US 3 & 5.
