A super, sweet felt handbag. How can you resist it?

This little bag will hold the bare essentials for a trip out, keys, credit cards, phone, a few other little bits and pieces.
Ideal for a special event or just because it’s so darn cute!!
Kids and teens will adore it too!

I have written this pattern in 2 versions-
Circular ( in the round) or Flat ( 2 needles stocking stitch) so you can choose which method you prefer.

This bag is knitted first in pure wool and then felted in an ordinary washing machine.

Any felting yarns will work well for this pattern-Look to see if the yarn is called a felting/ filz wool.
Most suppliers will say if it is good for felting but always check for hand-wash only!!

knitting needles 8mm (UK 0/ US11)

BASIC SKILLS NEEDED FOR THIS PATTERN.

Stocking stitch - knit one row then purl one row.
Inc- increase 1 stitch by knitting into front and then into the back of stitch
k2tog -knit the following 2 stitches together as 1 stitch.
