The Checkered Pumpkin pattern is a free crochet pattern on my blog!

This pumpkin works up quickly in bulky yarn from the bottom-up in the round without seams.

This fun and easy pattern features the Linked Double Crochet Stitch which grows quickly without gaps between stitches - no stuffing showing through on this one!

A patchwork spiral makes for a fun pattern without joining each round.

You won’t have a ton of ends to weave in, either! I drop and pick up yarn, crocheting over the non-working color throughout.  And, because this pattern is checkered, you will be carrying the same color as the stitches you are working in from the previous round.  So, there will be no color bleed through in this project!
