This pattern includes patterns for top, skirt and pom-poms (the Pom-poms are hand crocheted unlike any other Pom-poms that could be made with the Pom-Pom maker)

This cute cheerleading picture prop costume is made with 4 ply acrylic yarn. it’s designed for babies from newborn to 18 month old.

skills needed for this patterns; single crochet, chain, half double crochet, half double crochet two together or hdc decrease.
skill level; easy to intermediate.

i used three different hook sizes (4.5mm, 5mm and 6mm) to obtain the stitching’s tension desired for different parts of the costume.

i have tested this pattern with Red Heart yarn and it worked just fine, and it would work with any other 4ply yarn.

The pattern includes easy to follow step-by-step instructions and some pictures for tricky parts of the skirt.
