DESIGNER’S NOTES:

1) Cowl is created by alternating Welt & Seed Stitch panels with
Rope Panels.
2) The Stockinette Stitch Ropes vary in length along one side only,
which gives a slight flair to the lower edge of the cowl, making it
possible to wear over the shoulders as a wrap.
3) When working the Ropes, place stitches onto a stitch holder as
they are finished. When all ropes are finished, move the stitches
on hold back to a working needle before continuing. Weave the
yarn tails for each Rope when the project is complete.
4) Instructions are written for 3-color cowl.
