These trees are knitted from the bottom up. There are two designs and the pattern includes instructions to work them both flat and then seamed or in the round.

Tree one is knitted in smooth stocking stitch with ridges up the tree, these are shown knitted in contrast novelty yarn in the pictures.

Tree 2 is knitted in reverse stocking stitch broken up by two rows/rounds of stocking stitch – it is these two stocking st rows which are knitted in the contrast novelty yarn in the trees shown.

Either tree could be knitted entirely in novelty yarn once the base is completed. It is the base that contains the Ferrero Rocher and supports the weight of the tree so this is best knitted in regular yarn. The white tree pictured is an example of tree 2 knitted in eyelash yarn.

Heights
Tree 1 – 10cm/4 inches tall excluding bell
Tree 2 – 12cm/ 4 ½ inches tall excluding bell

The pattern is provided as a double side two fold leaflet - when printing double sided, use short edge binding.
