Cozy, soft, and fashionable, the Chunky Cable Cowl works up quickly using bulky yarn and large needles and in spite of the cable is quite simple. Paired with your winter jacket or favorite long-sleeved tee, it guarantees to keep you warm all season long. Be prepared - your friends will all be begging for one!

This project is perfect for the advanced beginner who is ready to learn cables.

Materials Required:

  • 106 yards super bulky weight yarn (I used 1 ball Lion Brand Wool-Ease Thick & Quick)
  • 1 pair US size 15 (10.0mm) knitting needles
  • cable needle or stitch holder

Approximate finished size:

  • 24” circumference (the measurement all the way around the cowl)
  • 6” tall

This cowl is worked flat. The ends are joined with a simple, quick seam to make the cowl that will keep you cozy until warm weather returns.
