This is an updated version of the original pattern using a different yarn. The PDF now includes more detailed written instructions, new photos and a crochet chart.

This simple yet elegant infinity scarf makes a great project for the busy crocheter. Give it as a gift, make one for yourself, or make more than one – it’s that quick!

The stitch pattern, using chains, single and double crochets, is easy to learn, and the scarf crochets up quickly because of the chunky weight yarn and large hook. A beginning crocheter could easily pick up the stitch pattern and create a beautiful scarf. The tulip stitch creates a slightly dense though openwork pattern that pairs perfectly with a chunky weight yarn for a comfy cozy winter accessory. Of course, if you prefer a more flowing drape, a worsted weight yarn may be used, as long as the hook size and dimensions are adjusted accordingly.

The scarf is crocheted in one long strip with the ends sewn together to form a ring. The infinity scarf double wraps for extra warmth.
