This pattern is written for the toe-up two-at-a-time technique, though I will not provide detailed instructions on how to do so in this pattern.

This pattern also features beautiful mock cables running along the top of the foot and wrapping around the leg, as well as a slipped stitch German short short row heel, as it is my favourite - but feel free to substitute your favourite heel technique instead!

This pattern is written in 4 sizes S (60 sts for 7.5”), M1 (64 sts for 8”), M2 (68 sts for 8.5”), L (72 sts for 9”).
As the mock-cables provide a lot of stretch, I recommend sizing down to a negative ease of about a half inch to an inch of the actual size of your foot, depending on how you like to wear yours.

I’ve been loving this design so much lately because it’s easy, simple, quite visually interesting without being too busy and also feels good on the foot and stays in place well. I surely hope you will love this design as much as I do, and I can’t wait to see your tootsies rocking this style in the future!
