This dress and bootees will fit a 3.25 inch porcelain dollshouse baby doll. The dress has been designed with a back opening so that it can be removed from the doll.

The front and back are made separately then sewn together at the shoulder with the sleeve, neck and back opening edges added afterwards.

The 11/0 seed beads are threaded onto the yarn before casting on and are just knitted into place. The outfit uses a total of 40 beads - 34 on the dress and 3 on each bootee.

The coloured dresses in the photos are made from silk and do not include the beads. I have added a very basic crochet edging to these dresses as the silk tended to curl around the hem.

The patterns for the hats shown in the dressed doll photos are not included as there just wasn’t enough space on the A4 page when I originally wrote the pattern back in 1995. Both hats (roll-edged and crochet-edged) are available as part of other patterns but if you buy this pattern and would like the pattern for one of the hats please contact me and I will send your choice free of charge.

The beautiful porcelain dolls are by Sandra Morris of Tower House Dolls.

About My Patterns
I am in the process of moving all my patterns to Ravelry and will also update them when I can. Until I manage this, each pattern will be A4 with a picture of the finished outfit and will be available at a reduced price.
