This coin purse comes in small and large sizes, is semi-felted, and holds its shape. They make nice gifts, while also being useful and pretty. Hand sewing skill requirements are beginner level. The purse is stable, and can hold doodads of all kinds; jewelry, stitch markers, and coins, while looking good on a shelf or dresser. The amount of yarn needed is minimal, and a good way to use up any leftover wool.

These instructions will demonstrate, through pictures, how to line and attach to a frame. There are templates for the embroidery of a lazy daisy flower, and for the lining.

Additional supplies other than worsted wool yarn are can include:
Set of 4 double pointed needles, 3.25 mm;
3.3” (or similar size) coin purse frame
thread, scissors, stick pins, needles, iron, 7 x 7 piece of fabric, embroidery thread (or yarn or crochet thread), and a drinking glasses with about a 3” diameter.
