16 sts + 24 rows = about 4 in. (10 cm) over Rows 1-60 of Strip I. One triangle = about 5 in. (12.5 cm) tall and 15 in. (38 cm) wide.

Three Strips are made separately, then sewn together following a diagram to make the Afghan.

Each Strip consists of 22 triangles worked using short rows. Short rows are rows that are worked over a portion of the sts in a row, leaving the remaining sts unworked. To work short rows, the pattern instructions will tell you to “w&t” (wrap and turn) before you reach the end of the row.
