Inspired by a day trip to Copenhagen for an interview I once had, this hat is designed to be easy to knit and great to wear in cooler weather.

Skill Level – Beginner with some hat knitting experience.

Yarn C1 - 100g/166m, Sara’s Texture Crafts DONEGAL Base (Merino with Nep) Aran weight. This is a one of a kind colourway, in my blended dye technique. I used

Yarn C2 - 100g/166m, Sara’s Texture Crafts SUPERWASH Base (Blue Faced Leicester) Aran weight. This is a one of a kind colourway, in my blended dye technique. I used 37g/61.42g.

Needles – 6mm/ 10 US 40cm/16” circulars for rib.
6.5mm/ 10 ½ US 40cm/16” circulars for colourwork and double points to cast off.

Gauge – 5 stitches per inch and 5 rows per inch, based on the colour work panel.

Finished Measurements – Laying flat the hat measures 15 inches/38cm at the brim (circumference) and 8.5 inches/21.5cm from brim to top. Pom Pom 3 inches/7.5cm in diameter.

Total weight of Project - 73g

To Fit: 20 inch head circumference/51.7cm.

Ease: Negative 5 inches/12.6cm in rib width.
