Warm weather months call for cotton garments. These adorable sundresses and sunhats are perfect for busy little one-year old girls. They knit up incredibly quick using worsted weight yarn and are seamless other than the shoulder seams. The sundress slips easily over baby’s head and has nothing that could be considered a choking hazard (on the dress or hat). I hope you have as much fun creating the dress/hat combo as I did! The hat is also available separately.

This is a perfect project for a beginning knitter. Instructions are also given for grafting using the beautiful Kitchener Stitch, which will create seamless-looking shoulders.

The pink is created with Bernat’s Cottontots, and the blue/green with Hobby Lobby’s “I Love This Cotton.” The heather/magenta is created with Knit Picks Simply Organic Cotton Worsted.

The pattern is now available on Knitpicks.com for $1.99 as an immediate download. Yarn may also be ordered from Knitpicks.
