Roundup those stitches with Country Western! Inspired by the chic side of rustic cowgirl living, work with your herd by mixing and matching your two favorite DK weight yarns. In this design, mixing textures is a plus! Country Western corrals your stitches into a rounded off triangle shaped shawl, designed for effortless trail riding wearing.

The tech edited and test knit easy level pattern is fully written with a schematic. Recommended skills: cast on, bind off, knit, purl, increase, & decrease.

Finished Measurements:

      Designer sample in 2 skeins Pima Cotton (MC)  eins Linen Tanguis (CC) from socially responsible Americo Original.
      Single skein info Pima Cotton: 100% cotton; 273yds/ 250m per 100g/ 3.5oz.
      Single skein info Linen Tanguis: 50% linen / 50% cotton; 218yds/ 199m per 100g/ 3.5oz.

Blocked Gauge:
22 sts and 34 rows over 4”/ 10cm. Note: exact gauge is not critical to this design. Gauge variations may impact final size and yardage requirements.

Special Notes:
Country Western is a fun experiment in mixing of different textures and fibers of the same weight. In the sample, smooth is contrasted with coarse, cotton with a cotton / linen blend, to highlight the textures of ranching out West.
