Cozy Caracol Cowl

Malabrigo has done it again! They have created a truly a unique yarn that is a delight to knit! The yarn has so much texture and color, it’s a joy to just look at it as a hank, and we’ve all fallen in love with it.

Are you wondering what to do with that scrumptious skein of Caracol you purchased on your last visit to your LYS? Do you knit gifts for others during the holiday season? Here’s a quick and easy answer!

After experimenting with many different stitch patterns,
I decided on a very simple “less is more” approach to enjoy the yarn happily dancing through my fingers.
I hope you enjoy it, too.

If you would like looser stitches, more depth and length, use size 15 - 19 needles for different and fabulous results.

Materials
Size 13 circular knitting needles 24” length.
1 skein of Malabrigo, Caracol (90 yards) #124 Salpicado
1 ring stitch marker.
Approximately 50” in circumference x 4” deep.
Gauge is 2 ½“ stitches per inch.
Note: If using a bigger needle size, you will need more yarn or you will need to reduce the number of rounds.

Have fun!
