MATERIALS: Of Templeton’s “Ayrbeam” Super Scotch Fingering 4-ply, allow the following quantities:
Size 8 to 10 years: 10 ozs. in white and ¼ oz. each in red and navy.
Size 10 to 12 years: 12 ozs. in white and ¼ oz. each in red and navy.
Size 12 to 14 years: 13 ozs. in white and ¼ oz. each in red and navy.
Size 14 to 16 years: 15 ozs. in white and ¼ oz. each in red and navy.
You will also require, 1 pair each of Nos. 10 and 12 knitting needles; a set of four No. 12 needles, pointed at each end; a cable needle.

TENSION: One cable band of 12 stitches to 1 3⁄8 inches and 21 rows to 2 inches.

MEASUREMENTS:
1st size – To suit a 29-30 inch chest; length from shoulder, 17 inches; sleeve seam, 14 inches.
2nd size – To suit a 31-32 inch chest; length from shoulder, 18 inches; sleeve seam, 15 inches.
3rd size – To suit a 33-34 inch chest; length from shoulder, 19½ inches; sleeve seam, 16 inches.
4th size – To suit a 35-36 inch chest; length from shoulder, 20½ inches; sleeve seam, 17 inches.
