This pattern has been written in an unusual style to help those folk who are (and quite rightly) intimidated by standard knitting pattern shorthand. It is suitable for people who have a basic (very basic is fine) grasp of cast-on, off, knit, purl, increase, decrease and cable (or the willingness to look up tutorials on any bits of technique they don’t understand)
