When one of your fiber friends tells you they are buying a favorite yarn shop (Black Mountain Yarn Shop in Black Mountain, NC) and asks you to design a sweater for their 12th anniversary, I knew I wanted to do something really special, with amazing yarn and a style that both highlights the yarn and reminds me of my girl, for whom this pattern is named! This bottom up drop shoulder sweater has fun little features like a split hem and button on the sleeve cuff!
