This sock pattern has been created by Winwick Mum (Christine Perry) for The Yarn Cafe.

These socks might look like a series of complicated cables but the knots are surprisingly simple mock cables, which run from the top down to an Eye of Partridge heel flap and then on down the foot to the Eye of Partridge toes.

To fit ball of foot circumference 8, 8.5, 9 or 9.5 inches (20,22,23,24 cm).

The socks have been created using 1 x 100g ball of West Yorkshire Spinners Signature 4-ply in Nutmeg (shade 630).

Requires 2.5mm needles - short circular, Double Pointed Needles (DPNs) or 80cm circular needles for magic loop; 1 set of 3mm DPNs (optional for a looser cuff): 1 set of 2.5mm DPNs ; stitch holder (optional); stitch markers and wool needle.
