This cowl has a lovely combination of vertical ribs and horizontal stripes of garter stitch on a stockinette stitch background. It’s a wonderful cowl suitable for both males and females alike and a great one for even beginners to tackle.

The cowl is knit flat and will need to be sewn up with a tapestry needle in the final step using the Mattress technique. This technique will be explained with diagrams later on in the pattern.

The finished size measures approximately 22” x 8” and is quite stretchy due to its ribbed design.

The colorway used for this cowl’s photos is Malabrigo Rios in Playa. You will be blown away by using any of their amazing blend of shades though!
