This hat features a lovely combination of vertical ribs and horizontal stripes of garter stitch on a stockinette stitch background. It has a lot of twists and turns just as you would encounter before reaching your final destination.

It’s a wonderful hat suitable for both males and females alike and a great one for even beginners to tackle.

The hat is knit flat and will need to be sewn up with a tapestry needle in the final step using the Mattress technique. This technique will be explained with diagrams in the pattern.
