I created this very sweet, super adorable Dachshund Sausage Dog called ‘Dexter’ as a draught excluder with cute stripes on his body. Knit up ‘Dexter’ to brighten up your kitchen, living or even bedroom space! He would compliment your home for a country cottage look too! Finished item size
This pattern is adjustable so you can knit Dexter up to any length you need to fit your doorway: Photo shows 65cm Length, 16cm Height.

Equipment needed
2.25mm knitting needles. 2 x 20mm buttons (White). 2 x 14mm buttons (Black). Round end small tapestry needle. Hollow fibre filling.

Suggested yarn
(A) 2 x 50g/130m ball -- Rowan Pure Wool DK. Shade 008 Marine. (B) 2 x 50g/130m ball -- Rowan Pure Wool DK. Shade 006 Pier.
(C) 1 x 50g/130m ball -- Rowan Pure Wool DK. Shade 004 Black.

Knitting skills needed to achieve this item include: Cast-on/Cast-off, Knit, Purl, Knit in to front and the back of stitch, Knit two stitches together, Slip a Stitch, Knit a Stitch, Pass Slipped Stitch over St just Knitted.
