This pattern is designed to introduce you to several different techniques for Double Knitting. You may use any worsted weight yarn or similar size for this.

The body of the purse is worked back and forth on two needles with a single strand of yarn and produces a tube like circular knitting, but with a closed bottom. The pattern offers three different options for the closed tube cast-on.

The flap is worked with a two stranded double knit technique. Two different colored yarns produce a double sided flat piece of knitting with the color work pattern of your choice (9 different charts to choose from). Optional shaping is also covered.
