Inspired by Downton fashion, the Downton Berry Hat is an interesting knit with a wide turned up brim. The turned up brim lays flat against the hat and provides a double thickness of warmth. The Downton Berry Stitch creates a lovely textured fabric and is a combination of several stitches including the berry stitch. The Downton can be worn pulled down where it will conform to the shape of the head or it can be worn higher on the head as a pillbox hat. This feature is a result of strategically placed decrease stitches. The Downton Berry can also be worn at an angle for that sophisticated Downton style. This hat is knit in the round making it a seamless creation. The pattern stitch continues in the decrease rounds and creates a hat that fits perfectly. Knit it in one color or coordinating colors for extra glamour.

The three sizes are included with this pattern are child, medium teen/adult, and large teen/adult.
