What am I missing?
Easy Peasy Lacy Breezy
I came up with this simple bias knit scarf because I wanted to show off a small amount of crazy & pretty handspun I had. This scarf can be knit with any weight of yarn.
Materials:
2-4 oz of Handspun Yarn
Yardage will vary depending on thickness of yarn, but around 500y/ 457m of lace weight, 300y/275m of fingering and 150-200y/137-183m of dk/worsted/ aran should be sufficient.
Example shown was knit with 137y/2oz of handspun with a wpi of 12 (equivalent to a worsted weight)
Straight needles a few sizes up from suggested for yarn For example for fingering weight yarn use a US 6 or 7 (4 or 4.5mm) or a worsted weight yarn try a US 10 or 11 (6 or 8mm) or whatever needle size you feel comfortable with.
Note: Gauge is not important to this scarf, but getting a loose knit with lots of drape is important.
