ABOUT THE PATTERN
Elarina is a lovely cuff or wrist warmer project for leftover yarns or for some pretty mini skeins. The wrist warmers will also make sure your wrists and hands are warm and comfy through the cold season. Knit using short-rows, it’s a quick and fun knit and an excellent practice if you’re new to short-row knitting. If you want a matching shawl to go with it, it is knit using the same principle as the Aeria shawl.

GENERAL
Elarina is knit sideways, starting with a provisional cast-on. It is then knit from chart, and finally the two ends are grafted together using kitchener stitch. This creates a completely invisible seam. The base colour is always the same, while you can choose to switch the petal colour if you like.

SIZE
Approximately 16 cm high x 20 cm outer circumference (no blocking), using 2.5 mm needles. Fits somewhat loosely on a 17 cm/6.7” wrist. If your wrists are smaller, go down a needle size to get a smaller wrist warmer.

YARN
Merino d’Arles, Rosy Green Wool, 400 m/100g (fingering/4ply). The sample cuffs use colours Cyprès (12 g, 48 m) and Brebis (16 g, 64 m).
