ENGINEER’S OVERALLS
A KNITTING PATTERN FOR SYLVANIAN FAMILIES

A Sylvanian world will often include workshops, mills and other rural places of work; and your tradesman will want to wear traditional workwear. I have devised these overalls which, by changing the colour, will be suitable for a vehicle mechanic, farmer or window cleaner, etc! Instructions for junior-sized outfits, for their apprentices perhaps, are given also. These basic patterns are suitable for average sized Sylvanians, while the 2mm-knit overalls and largest hat (shown on driver bear) should also fit dalmations and other larger figurines. The small skunk’s overalls, knitted to the junior instructions but with 1mm needles, are shown without collar or belt to create an all-in-one!

Two sets of instruction are given. The first complete set are knitted with fine or lace-weight 2ply and 2mm needles and gives clothing suitable for the junior Sylvanian world collector. The second set, with 1.5mm needles will give more detail and will delight the serious collector. The pattern includes the printed details for the car manual and tools.
