I added this tutorial so that you can see how to do the extended double crochet stitch, abbreviated (edc). Use this stitch when doing filet work so that your stitches will be proportionate. It’s like an ordinary double crochet except that you make an extra yarn over that forms a chain to extend the length of the stitch.
