Fishy has evolved!! In this major pattern update, I have added another size and revamped some of the proportions. There are also help videos for certain rows on our YouTube channel: youtube.com/fishystitchery.

Fishy Cloth + Mitt is a great pattern for beginning knitters. Fishy Cloths knit up quickly and are great for gift-giving.

The Little Fish size fits most kiddie hands and the Big Fish size fits adult hands.

Gauge is not as important as the fiber content of the yarn. Cotton yarn that is machine washable is best for this pattern. This pattern also works best if the yarn is knit on needles 1-2 sizes smaller than recommended on the label. You want the fabric created by your knitting to be denser rather than thin and drapey.
