Things You Will Need:

  • 2.75mm knitting needles (5)
  • three yarn colors: main color (200 yd) cc (100 yd) and cc2 (20 yd)
  • tiny bit of black yarn (1 yd)
  • yarn needle or 2.75mm crochet hook

Measurments: taken flat: 8 x 4 inches not
including thumb

Gauge: 8 stitches by 8 rows when working main flamingo colorwork pattern in the round

Terms Used:

  • k: knit
  • p: purl
  • st: stitch
  • m1: knit into the front and back of a st (increase)
  • m2: knit into the front, back, front of a st (increase twice)
  • colorwork chart(s) and thumb gussets
  • crochet bobbles and some stitch work (the beak and eye) are used
  • knitting in the round on dpn
