You will achieve the best results using wool for adult sizes.
Baby/ toddler sizes can be made with cotton or bamboo yarn or cotton blend / bamboo blend. 100% acrylic is not recommended as the flower might not block well.

You will also need:
4 mm circular needle, 40 cm long for baby/ toddler sizes, 60 cm long for child/ adult ones,
a set of 4 mm dp needles
st marker
crochet hook size as needles, and a pen about 8-10 mm in diameter (for casting on)
if you use non-flexible yarn such as cotton/ bamboo: round elastic cord, approx. 1.5 mm across, length = 3 times brim circumference +10 cm (to reinforce the brim)
blunt tipped needle (to thread elastic in brim)
