Fragaria - Genus name for the strawberry plant family.

This shawl was designed as a collaboration for the November box with Crate Crochet.

Inspiration for this design was from my favourite book series and now a TV series, Outlander. The strawberry is the clan symbol for the Frasers (Drums of Autumn, page 348). The flowers are for honour, the fruit is for courage and the leaves are for constancy.

This design explores the concept of texture and lace stitches, making it a perfect summer shawl.

Pattern includes chart for lace section and border and stitch counts for every row.

Pattern is written in US terms but UK terms are listed in the stitches used section.

This pattern can easily be made in 8ply/Dk/#3 weight to make a larger shawl if desired.

This pattern has been tested.
