This fun colorwork blanket is created using a very simple slip stitch technique and is a great introduction to colorwork for a beginner as well as a fun knit for an experienced knitter.

Freddie’s Blanket is one of five knitting patterns included in our children’s storybook, Freddie’s Blanket. Freddie’s Blanket is a story about a young platypus named Freddie who lives in Australia. My husband Eric illustrates my stories and I design the knitting patterns to accompany the characters and events from the book. We are published by our indie press, Slate Falls Press, and sell signed copies of our books at our etsy shop.

We also have a group here on ravelry, so please feel free to come on over and join for news, project chats, and knitalongs!
