Unintentionally, these airy spring lace socks turned out looking like something from the produce department – pineapples to be exact!

They are such a fun sock-knitting project!! They are knit magic loop, toe up with an afterthought heel, but feel free to adjust the pattern using any preferred sock knitting techniques. Every knitter’s gauge will vary, so instructions are given for measuring the foot and figuring out the gauge.

The yarns used were MC – Mrs. Crosby Loves to Play Train Case Yarn (55% superwash Merino wool, 15% nylon, 30% outlast viscose, 425yds/100g) in Golden Butter and CC – Araucania (100% Extra Fine Merino, 450yds/100g) in Huasco #4. Written directions are given with a chart on the last page for the lace.

NOTE: MAY 2017 SPECIAL - $1 - Big Ooooops! Sorry - please use the coupon code BBYY at checkout, and they should be just $1. Thanks for those who let me know they weren’t $1!!! I will actually run this special through June 15. Another $1 special is to watch the Knotty Knit Wits Podcast episode 45 - then use the coupon code YAWN - you’ll understand! That one is good through May 31.
