Fingerless mitts are ideal accessories for keeping your hands warm while freeing up your fingers for general tasks. A quick and simple project that is fun to knit and makes an ideal gift.

This pattern contains 2 weight versions: Sport weight for slightly warmer conditions and DK/Worsted weight for something a little more cozy.

For Sport weight version:
• 2 x 50g skeins (1 of each colour) Sport weight yarn.
• 3mm (US2.5) circular needles or DPNs
• Gauge: 28sts x 40 Rows 10cm (4”) square, knitted in stockinette stitch. The Sport weight version goes nicely as a matching item to the Friday Street Shawl.

For DK/Worsted Weight Version:
2 x 50g skeins (1 of each colour) Yarns that have a ‘fluffy’ appearance are ideal for this pattern.
3.5mm (US4) circular or DPNs
Gauge: 24sts x 38 Rows 10cm (4”) square, knitted in stockinette stitch.

General tools for both versions: Yarn needle, Stitch markers, Stitch holder or waste yarn and Measuring tape.
