Worked from the top down, Frieze is a crescent-shaped shawl worked in Stockinette stitch stripes and finished with a simple stranded border. A good project for the Advanced Beginner who’s ready for some colorwork, you can choose bold colors or go subtle.

You will need about 231 yards each of color A and color B and a few yards of color C for the accent stripes.

The instructions for the body of the shawl are written, and the instructions for the edging are charted.

The finished shawl has a wingspan of approximately 52” and a back length of approximately 15.5”.
