“Gaberlunzie is a license to beg, Sassenach”
Quote from the book Outlander by Diana Gabladon; Chapter 17

This is the third pattern from The Craft Coterie in the Outlander Inspired series! It is a simple twisted rib pattern for boot cuffs with a bit, well a bit more.

I have wanted to design boot cuffs for a while now. I knew it would include a gorgeous bit of wool tartan from my dear friend Marie who lives in Scotland, but I just couldn’t decide on something unique enough to constitute an original Pattern.

Once I saw Hugh Monro’s Gaberlunzies in S1 episode 8 “Both Sides Now” of the Outlander TV series on Starz® – I found my inspiration!
